Reservations- Reserve your dog's visit as far in advance as possible. Space is on a first-come, first-served basis, so
it pays to plan early. It also helps if you have set days (i.e., every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, etc.) If you have set
days, you need to let us know at least 24 hours in advance of any schedule changes or you will be charged for missed
days.
Cancellations- There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cannot make it for a scheduled visit, please notify us by
noon the day before your scheduled visit. You may tell us in person, notify us by phone at (708) 535-9663.
Feeding and Medication- Typically your dog should be fed in the morning prior to bringing them to daycare. We
understand that some dogs require food and medication throughout the day. We will feed and/or medicate your dog
at no charge, just provide us with that day's supply (labeled with your dog's name, your last name, and AM/PM,
please) at each visit. No bowls, toys or bedding at any time.
Sick Dogs- If your dog is sick, please take them to the vet. We reserve the right to refuse a visit if your dogs arrives
sick or flea infested. If your dogs gets sick while here, we will quarantine the dog until you can pick him or her up, or
we will take the dog to our vet if we deem it necessary. The client will pay all expenses incurred.
Pick-Up- Please be prompt about picking up your dog at the end of the day. Our late fee is $1/per minute after
6:30PM unless prior arrangement have been made. Any client who continually violates pickup times will be asked not
to return.
Spayed or Neutered- Dogs must be spayed or neutered. Puppies may be unaltered until 6 months, or until a
female's first season/heat, which ever comes first. If an unaltered female goes into heat while at daycare, she will be
quarantined until she is picked up. If this occurs, we ask that the female dog not return to daycare until she has been
altered.
Current on all Vaccinations- Proof of vaccinations are required. Dogs must have received following vaccinations:
Distemper, Parvo, Bordatella (kennel cough), and Rabies. Bordatella vaccine must be administered at least 8 days
prior to 1st visit. Negative stool sample must be within the last 30 days and must included Giardia, Toxocara, and
Coccidia (especially in puppies). Records may be faxed to us prior to the first visit at (708) 535-9669 or brought in the
first day of daycare. Any client that does not supply the correct receipts or certifications of vaccines may be refused
service.
Well-Socialized- Aggressive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. Dogs must not show signs of aggression or
be extremely anxious or nervous. Dogs that break the following rules will be refused acceptance: 1) The dog puts
people or other animals in danger, (2) Unprovoked or unpredictable aggressive behavior, (3) Other issues that can
endanger the dog, other dogs or our caregivers.
Collar with ID tag- Dogs must have collars with identification and/or be microchipped. No spiked, choke or prong
collars allowed.
Flea Control- Dogs must be on a veterinarian-approved form of flea control. Acceptable products are Frontline,
Advantage, or Revolution. Flea collars are not acceptable forms of flea control.
Entering and Exiting- We require all dogs arrive and leave on a leash. These requirements are for the safety of the
dogs and people. Dogs must enter through the front entrance. If your dog must "relieve" themselves before entering
or upon leaving our facility, please use the designated area. This area is on the north side of the building between the
dumpster and the tree. If your dog has an "accident" outside of the designated area please notify us promptly so that
it can be cleaned up.
